Horbers&#039; <\/strong><\/a>De ESG-reis begon bij haar familie. Ze was altijd ge\u00efnteresseerd in kwesties rond duurzaamheid en deed krachtige pogingen om alleen ecologisch en biologisch voedsel te kopen. Ze is een strategische planner en heeft bedrijven altijd geholpen duurzaamheid in hun bedrijfsstrategie\u00ebn te verankeren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Susanne ging dieper in op de verschillen tussen het hebben van een traditionele visie voor uw bedrijf en een ESG-visie \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Een ESG-visie richt zich op duurzaamheid, ethische praktijken en verantwoord bestuur, terwijl de algemene visie van het bedrijf financi\u00eble voordelen, marktuitbreiding of operationele effici\u00ebntie als aandachtspunten kan hebben. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Een ESG-visie zal deze doelstellingen uitbreiden naar energie-effici\u00ebntie en afvalbeheer, of binnen sociale overwegingen; je richt je op mensenrechten en medewerkerstevredenheid. Als u bestuursaspecten in ogenschouw neemt, kunt u als bedrijf uw prioriteiten verleggen naar transparantie, ethisch gedrag en effectief toezicht. Het is van cruciaal belang om het onderwerp duurzaamheid te integreren in het DNA van het merk. Op al deze elementen kan worden gefocust tijdens ESG-implementaties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dit is de enige manier om het de legitimiteit en focus te geven die nodig is om te worden opgenomen in de algemene bedrijfsstrategie. Nadat u deze integratie heeft afgerond, moet u het proces controleren door te meten en te rapporteren. Al het bovenstaande vereist een breder perspectief, en bedrijven moeten zich richten op financi\u00eble winsten en de impact ervan op het milieu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ALGEMENE UITDAGINGEN TIJDENS <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mckinsey.com\/capabilities\/sustainability\/our-insights\/how-to-make-esg-real\">ESG-IMPLEMENTATIES<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ik vroeg Susanne naar de algemene uitdagingen van bedrijven bij het implementeren van een ESG-strategie. Ze benadrukte meteen dat het begint met de juiste mentaliteit \u2013 in plaats van ESG als een last te zien, kan het het beste worden gezien als een kans om het succes en het concurrentievermogen te vergroten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In eerste instantie kan ESG duur zijn, en de kostenfactor kan een uitdaging vormen. Om ervoor te zorgen dat producten uit een duurzame bron worden verkregen, kunnen aanzienlijke aanloopkosten nodig zijn. Bedrijven kunnen met deze kosten worstelen, vooral als ze geen onmiddellijk rendement zien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Een andere uitdaging waar Susanne op wees zijn de verwachtingen van belanghebbenden. In bepaalde gevallen kunnen belanghebbenden verschillende en in sommige gevallen zelfs tegenstrijdige verwachtingen hebben ten aanzien van de implementatie van ESG. Het kan een uitdaging zijn om aan deze verwachtingen te voldoen en er tegelijkertijd voor te zorgen dat het bedrijf winstgevend is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het implementeren van ESG kan ook een transformatie van de mentaliteit vereisen: van een kortetermijndenken en een louter winstgerichte houding naar een meer langetermijngerichte houding, waarbij duurzaamheid voorop staat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www2.deloitte.com\/ce\/en\/pages\/global-business-services\/articles\/esg-explained-1-what-is-esg.html\">ESG UITGELEGD<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De meeste bedrijven en individuen zouden de context van het milieugedeelte van het acroniem ESG begrijpen, maar het sociale en governance-gedeelte van de vergelijking laat mensen vaak twijfelen. Ze legde uit dat de &#039;S&#039; in ESG staat voor Sociaal, feitelijk hoe je mensen behandelt, en dat de &#039;G&#039; voor bestuur staat en benadrukt hoe een bedrijf wordt geleid met de nadruk op gezonde en ethische leiderschapspraktijken. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Goed leiderschap betekent in deze context dat het bedrijf slimme en eerlijke beslissingen neemt en een hoge mate van transparantie kent in wat ze doen en hoe ze dat doen. Openheid schept niet alleen intern maar ook extern vertrouwen. Hoewel de kwestie van de impact op het milieu vaak de meeste aandacht krijgt, zijn de sociale en bestuurlijke aspecten even belangrijk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Een ESG-strategie omzetten in actie betekent eerst plannen maken voor het milieu, uw mensen eerlijk behandelen en uw bedrijf eerlijk runnen. Een tweede stap bij het omzetten van uw ESG-plan in actie is het cre\u00ebren van duidelijke doelstellingen die aansluiten bij de waarden van uw bedrijf. Deze doelstellingen moeten een verbetering van het milieu, de sociale aspecten en het bestuur vertegenwoordigen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ten derde is het onderdeel maken van ESG bij elke beslissing een belangrijk aspect dat kan leiden tot zelfverzekerd handelen. Dit helpt alle betrokkenen om ESG te allen tijde in gedachten te houden. Het ontvangen van feedback van zowel interne als externe belanghebbenden kan het ESG-plan versterken en de kansen op uitvoering aanzienlijk vergroten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het in praktijk brengen van een ESG-strategie kost tijd. Het is een inspanning die goed wordt toegepast, want uiteindelijk zal de effectieve uitvoering van een ESG-strategie ervoor zorgen dat u als bedrijf een positieve impact heeft op het milieu, mensen goed behandelt en uw bedrijf op een betrouwbare manier leidt. Als ESG de basis vormt voor de besluitvorming, of u nu leveranciers of producten kiest, zult u uw visie waarschijnlijk in de loop van de tijd uitvoeren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ESG-METRIEKEN<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Volgens Susanne vereist het meten van het succes van een ESG-implementatie een combinatie van kwalitatieve en kwantitatieve maatstaven. We moeten de juiste maatregelen identificeren voor de drie elementen: milieu, sociaal en bestuur. Dit kunnen bekende maatstaven zijn zoals de vermindering van de CO2-uitstoot, het wegleiden van afval van stortplaatsen, diversiteit in leiderschap, scores voor medewerkerstevredenheid en meer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deze statistieken begeleiden ons bij het vaststellen van wat onze sterke punten zijn en wat we moeten verbeteren. Als bedrijf kunt u ook empowerment krijgen door gebruik te maken van bestaande en gestandaardiseerde rapportagekaders, zoals het Global Reporting Initiative. Dit raamwerk zou dan zowel herkenbaar als geaccepteerd zijn door externe belanghebbenden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">U kunt inzichten verkrijgen die niet volledig worden vastgelegd in de beschikbare kwantitatieve gegevenssets door feedbackloops op te nemen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Veelgestelde vragen over ESG-implementaties en bedrijfsprestaties<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Wat is een ESG-visie en waarin verschilt deze van een traditionele bedrijfsvisie?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Een ESG-visie (Environmental, Social, and Governance) legt de nadruk op duurzaamheid, ethische praktijken en verantwoord bestuur.
