Hazell<\/strong><\/a> over schaalvergroting van bedrijven<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cliff Hazell helpt scale-ups hun groeipijnen weg te nemen. Ook deze in Stockholm gevestigde consultant heeft \u2018roots\u2019 in Zuid-Afrika waar hij zijn ervaring heeft opgedaan met het opschalen van bedrijven. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Een van de vele hoogtepunten in zijn carri\u00e8re was zijn rol in het helpen <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/?\">Spotify<\/a><\/strong> schalen. Hij ondersteunde de vorming van leiderschapsteams, overnames en nieuwe openingen in andere landen voor het veelbesproken bedrijf, dat niet alleen bekend staat als een digitale muziekpodcast, maar ook vanwege zijn baanbrekende manieren van werken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ik herinnerde me een conferentie waar zowel Cliff als ik sprekers waren, op de African Lean managementconferentie in Kaapstad, Zuid-Afrika, in 2016 \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ik herinner me nog levendig dat Cliff zich concentreerde op een dia waarop een foto te zien is van twee mensen die dicht bij elkaar staan, ontspannend in aparte hangmatten. Cliff zweeg even en glimlachte voordat hij zei: Dit is een foto van een coachingsessie op Spotify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hij is erg actief op LinkedIn, en een van de vele berichten die uit Cliffs&#039; geest voortkomen en die ik waardeer, gaat over de verspreiding van informatie binnen organisaties \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Manieren van communicatie in een organisatie<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het doel van een Scrum of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.atlassian.com\/agile\/kanban\/boards\">Kanban-bord<\/a><\/strong> moet een informatieradiator zijn, maar de meeste bedrijven bouwen in plaats daarvan informatiekoelkasten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Koelkast \u2013 De meeste bedrijven gebruiken communicatie zoals je een koelkast zou gebruiken: ze slaan communicatie op, en je moet deze opvragen wanneer je maar wilt en proberen er wijs uit te worden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Radiator \u2013 Via proactieve en dagelijkse of regelmatige stand-ups kunnen we ervoor zorgen dat de juiste informatie door de organisatie wordt &#039;uitgestraald&#039; en niet zomaar wordt opgeslagen waar deze gemakkelijk kan worden vergeten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voor meer &#039;Gems&#039; zoals hierboven, volg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/cliffhazell?lipi=urn%3Ali%3Apage%3Ad_flagship3_profile_view_base_contact_details%3BTKxDXLolRumu9PZ3ymX%2Bkg%3D%3D\"><strong>@CliffHazell hier<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cliff heeft diepgaande ervaring met Agile-methodieken, maar noemt zichzelf geen Agile-coach, en ik heb hem daar tijdens ons interview naar gevraagd. &#039; Agile is een methodiek, net als Lean management, en verschillende tools kunnen afzonderlijk en in combinatie worden toegepast om bedrijven te helpen opschalen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dat deed me denken aan de duurzaamheid en het succes van OKR\u2019s. Het succes van OKR\u2019s kan alleen behouden blijven in een omgeving waarin complementaire methodologie\u00ebn slim worden toegepast en waarin OKR\u2019s worden ondersteund door leiderschap en een cultuur die bevorderlijk is voor het gezamenlijk bereiken van verreikende doelen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Volgens Cliff haalt Agile Framing dingen meestal uit hun context en zorgt ervoor dat mensen zich concentreren op een &#039;rule book&#039; (hoe Agile implementeren) in plaats van betekenisvolle impact. In plaats daarvan kunnen we, wanneer we op creatieve wijze complementaire en toepasbare methoden combineren, een krachtige combinatie cre\u00ebren die bedrijven helpt op te schalen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cliff kan rekenen op zijn uitgebreide ervaring met het toepassen van leiderschapsvaardigheden, complexiteitswetenschap, lean management, agile methodologie\u00ebn en meer om bedrijven te helpen effectief op te schalen en de schaalvergroting duurzaam te maken. Deze aanpak stelt hem in staat om voor elke unieke situatie de juiste methode toe te passen.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het effectieve gebruik van tools is afhankelijk, en als je maar \u00e9\u00e9n apparaat hebt, zal het in verschillende situaties het &#039;verkeerde hulpmiddel&#039; of het &#039;verkeerde moment&#039; blijken te zijn om dit specifieke hulpmiddel te gebruiken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ik vroeg hem -<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wat zijn de essenti\u00eble zaken om een bedrijf op te schalen? Hij doelde op drie kritische succesfactoren. Ik ben zo vrij geweest om mijn opmerkingen in te voegen over hoe dit zich verhoudt tot OKR&#039;s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De essentie van het opschalen van een bedrijf<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Focus cre\u00ebren.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zonder focus hebben onze teams moeite om resultaten te boeken. In plaats van dat het hele bedrijf iets als nummer 1 beschouwt, en het een versneld traject geeft, hebben we 17 \u201cOKR\u2019s met topprioriteit\u201d die allemaal even urgent zijn. Dit betekent dat we ze allemaal starten en de inspanningen van ons team over veel dingen verdelen. Omdat elk team het erg druk heeft en we iemand anders nodig hebben om ons te helpen, moeten we wachten tot deze beschikbaar is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De enige uitweg uit deze puinhoop is het hebben van \u00e9\u00e9n duidelijke #1, en de rest daarachter plaatsen. Op deze manier weet je dat als ik je hulp nodig heb op #1, je op #17 moet pauzeren om te helpen. Op dezelfde manier kan ik, als je mij om hulp vraagt voor je #17, zeggen: \u201cSorry, je moet wachten tot ik hier klaar ben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zodra we dit kunnen doen, kunnen we daadwerkelijk leveren wat we op nummer 1 hebben gezet. Het wordt de moeite waard om energie te besteden aan het uitzoeken wat we aan de top moeten hebben. Voordat we ons daadwerkelijk kunnen concentreren, is het zinloos, omdat we ze toch allemaal als gelijk gaan behandelen. Ze zullen alles grijpen wat, ook al is het maar qua schijn, hen zal helpen slagen, of ze zullen alles negeren omdat ze zich overweldigd voelen. Dit verspilt de tijd van onze waardevolle mensen en de tijd en inspanningen van ons bedrijf<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het collectief beslissen over onze echte prioriteiten op dit moment en het cre\u00ebren van een laserfocus daarop is een optimaal startpunt voor het opstellen van resultaatgerichte OKR\u2019s<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Hefboomwerking vinden.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het meeste van waar wij aan werken is qua impact te karakteriseren als Overhead of Neutraal. Er zijn maar heel weinig producten die meer opleveren dan de energie die ze verbruiken. Ons doel is om die te vinden en zo min mogelijk tijd aan de anderen te besteden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wat is ons (of waarschijnlijk) het meest optimale startpunt om ons te helpen betekenisvolle tractie te zien? Een bestaand project dat als zeer impactvol en essentieel wordt beschouwd en waarin cross-functionele samenwerking al wordt bevorderd, zal waarschijnlijk een optimaal startpunt zijn voor een OKR-pilot<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/jamesclear.com\/atomic-habits\">Gewoontes opbouwen<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We hebben allemaal talloze blauwdrukken, strategie\u00ebn en visieverklaringen gezien. Ongeacht wie ze heeft opgesteld of hun kwaliteit, ze zijn betekenisloos totdat we consequent actie ondernemen ter ondersteuning van de actualisering van dezelfde documenten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het doel hier is om de gunstige patronen gemakkelijk te maken, en de schadelijke patronen moeilijk of minder waarschijnlijk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Een manier om hiernaar te kijken is Frictie, we voegen frictie toe (regels, processen etc.) om dingen te vertragen, of verwijderen frictie om dit gemakkelijker te maken (minder stappen, snellere beslissingen, zelfbediening etc.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cliff noemt het &#039;zinwekkend&#039;, en maar heel weinig bedrijven stellen in de &#039;waas&#039; van opwinding, druk en &#039;business as usual&#039; hun huidige status (startpunt) met grote duidelijkheid vast. Als we niet eerlijk en transparant zijn over waar we staan, hoe kunnen we dan kiezen waar we heen willen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het ontwikkelen van gewoonten die u in staat stellen uw bedrijf op te schalen, is essentieel voor duurzame prestaties. Patronen van het &#039;uitstralen van informatie via goed uitgevoerde stand-ups, grondige OKR-check-ins, het bieden van psychologische veiligheid, het werkelijk bevorderen van samenwerking en ondersteunende coaching in plaats van kritiek te leveren, zijn allemaal belangrijk voor het verwezenlijken van OKR&#039;s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex
