class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het gebruik van OKR-frameworks is gangbaar geworden en in steeds meer organisaties zijn ze een &#039;best practice&#039; geworden. Gedeeltelijk hebben OKR&#039;s de voorkeur vanwege de rol die het speelt bij het overbruggen van de strategie- en uitvoeringskloof wanneer ze effectief worden ingezet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sommige organisaties met weinig resterende middelen zijn beter af als ze eerst op zoek gaan naar &#039;kleine overwinningen&#039; om het momentum te herwinnen na een aanhoudende en langdurige periode van slechte prestaties voordat ze &#039;stretch goals&#039; nastreven. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Thinking,_Fast_and_Slow\">Volgens het onderzoek van Daniel Kahneman en Amos Tverskys<\/a><\/strong>Falen heeft de neiging om besluitvormers in een risicozoekende gemoedstoestand te brengen. Ze gokken op \u2018stretch goals\u2019 zonder de middelen of voldoende kennis om ze voor elkaar te krijgen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#039;Stretch Goals&#039; zijn moeilijk te realiseren:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Middelen, zowel financieel als menselijk, moeten worden overwogen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stretchdoelen zijn grenzen voorbij het bekende en &#039;business as usual&#039;.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Het is een aanzienlijk risico om op zichzelf staande doelen te bereiken zonder deze af te stemmen op de cultuur van de organisatie<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Een sterke traditionele ori\u00ebntatie en cultuur is geen optimale omgeving voor stretchdoelen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Toch kan het voor elk bedrijf de meest waardevolle onderneming zijn: \u2013 Stel doelen op als ze correct worden ingezet:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Er zijn verschillende motiverende mechanismen voor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verhoogt de betrokkenheid van medewerkers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verhoogt het innovatiepercentage van het bedrijf<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Voegt enorme waarde toe aan klanten\/cli\u00ebnten\/gebruikers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stimuleert creativiteit, inclusie en samenwerking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Doorbreekt het silo-effect en hi\u00ebrarchie\u00ebn<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kan een bedrijf echt onderscheiden van concurrenten<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Waarom ondernemen mensen geen actie op strategie\u00ebn?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Een studie van <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sloanreview.mit.edu\/article\/no-one-knows-your-strategy-not-even-your-top-leaders\/\">MIT Sloane<\/a> <\/strong>onthulde dat:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Op het hoogste niveau van een bedrijf kent en begrijpt gemiddeld alleen 51% de strategie\u00ebn van het bedrijf. Op senior executive niveau is het aanzienlijk lager, namelijk 22%; op middenkaderniveau is het zo laag als 18%; en op het niveau van de eerstelijnssupervisor is het zo laag als 13%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het is niet de moeite waard om een discussie op gang te brengen over de kloof tussen weten en doen zonder ervoor te zorgen dat steeds meer teamleden van het bedrijf de strategie\u00ebn van het bedrijf kennen en weten hoe hun respectieve rollen diezelfde strategie\u00ebn be\u00efnvloeden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Naast het bovenstaande is er vaak een aanzienlijk hiaat in de ori\u00ebntatie en het denken van degenen die de strategie\u00ebn bedenken en degenen die ze moeten uitvoeren. In veel gevallen hebben degenen die plannen bedenken een breder perspectief (ori\u00ebntatie in het denken over het grotere geheel), en degenen die plannen uitvoeren hebben een beperktere kijk (Hoe gaan we dit doen?). De ene richting is niet beter dan de andere, toch kunnen misverstanden en misvattingen op grote schaal voorkomen, waardoor uitvoering onmogelijk wordt als deze twee ori\u00ebntaties niet met elkaar worden verzoend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Strategie\u00ebn en communicatie zorgen niet voor uitvoering.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het hebben van een strategie of strategie\u00ebn, zelfs briljant bedachte, verzekert niets. Communicatie biedt ook geen zekerheid dat er iets zal gebeuren \u2013 het is een combinatie van factoren die de uitvoering zeer waarschijnlijk maakt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wanneer teamleden vanaf het begin het gevoel hebben dat ze deel uitmaken van de strategiecreatie en dat ze worden geraadpleegd, is de kans groter dat ze deze tot bloei brengen. De <a href=\"https:\/\/thedecisionlab.com\/biases\/ikea-effect\"><strong>&#039;IKEA-effect&#039;<\/strong><\/a> is in dit opzicht relevant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het IKEA-effect, genoemd naar ieders favoriete Zweedse meubelgigant, beschrijft hoe mensen een object meer waarderen als ze het zelf maken (of in elkaar zetten). Meer in het algemeen spreekt het IKEA-effect over hoe we dingen leuker vinden als we moeite hebben gedaan om ze te maken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Als wij als teamleden hadden geholpen bij het opstellen van strategie\u00ebn en werden geraadpleegd voordat plannen werden gemaakt, is de kans veel groter dat we eigenaar worden van dezelfde processen en ernaar handelen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eenvoud<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#039;Leiders zijn bijna altijd geweldige vereenvoudigers.&#039;<\/strong><\/p>\n<cite><strong>Colin Powel<\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Als we geen &#039;gemakkelijk uit te voeren&#039; strategie\u00ebn kunnen ontwikkelen of op zijn minst complexe systemen kunnen opsplitsen in veel eenvoudigere &#039;brokken&#039;, lopen we een groot risico dat de uitvoering helemaal niet plaatsvindt. Wanneer een buitenstaander uw strategie of strategie\u00ebn leest, moet het logisch zijn - wanneer een systeem echt transparant is en wordt opgesplitst in thematische kerndoelen of pijlers en verder wordt gedestilleerd in vereenvoudigde OKR-kaders, is de kans veel groter dat het wordt uitgevoerd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#039;Eet een olifant&#039;, zeggen Afrikanen tegen degenen die overweldigd raken, hypothetisch gesproken natuurlijk \u2013 als het je taak is om een olifant op te eten, is de enige manier om het stuk voor stuk te doen. Als je voor een enorme onderneming staat, begin dan met dingen die je gemakkelijk kunt doen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Waarom OKR&#039;s &#039;de kloof tussen strategie en uitvoering kunnen opvullen&#039;.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Binnen effectieve OKR-kaders wordt de visie van het bedrijf gedestilleerd in strategische doelstellingen en worden teamdoelstellingen afgestemd op de strategische doelstellingen. De belangrijkste resultaten zijn de &#039;guidance metrics&#039; om de doelen te realiseren. Het OKR-actieplan bevat acties, taken, initiatieven en projecten die de belangrijkste resultaten ondersteunen \u2013 Binnen een OKR-kader is de uitvoering al ingebouwd in de flexibele structuur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Een strategie die vanaf het begin &#039;slim&#039; is om binnen een organisatie te gebruiken om de uitvoering van OKR&#039;s te waarborgen, is om zoveel mogelijk OKR-kampioenen te &#039;cre\u00ebren&#039;. Bied een meeslepende ervaring van OKR&#039;s aan degenen die ze gaan inzetten. Het gaat erom hen in staat te stellen krachtige OKR&#039;s op te stellen en voorstanders te worden van OKR&#039;s en andere Agile-praktijken binnen uw organisatie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
