class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Een van de belangrijkste veranderingen als gevolg van de Covid-19-pandemie was de noodzaak om de bedrijfsplannen en -strategie\u00ebn in alle sectoren te versnellen. Het langetermijndoel werd snel ingekort tot het middellangetermijndoel en zelfs richting de korte termijn. Wat in de loop der jaren moest worden voltooid, wordt in maanden, soms zelfs weken gedaan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deze snelheidstoename is echter een probleem, aangezien traditionele uitvoeringsmethoden werken met trajectaanpassingen en maandelijkse monitoringfrequenties. Elke maand worden de strategische indicatoren bijgewerkt en op basis van de gerapporteerde waarden evalueren de managers de prestaties van wat er is bereikt met betrekking tot de maandelijkse doelen en de geaccumuleerde doelen. De managers ondernemen de nodige acties voor koerscorrecties richting de verwachte resultaten voor het jaar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Technologiebedrijven in Silicon Valley waren pioniers met de OKR, een oplossing voor het hierboven beschreven probleem. De OKR-methodologie die bij Intel en Google werd ontwikkeld, werd beroemd en wordt tegenwoordig op grote schaal gebruikt door bedrijven in alle sectoren van de economie over de hele wereld. Voor degenen die nog niet bekend zijn: OKRs is een acroniem voor Objectives &amp; Key Results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De frequentie van OKR-monitoring is wekelijks. Traditionele bedrijven werken met een conventionele methode om strategie\u00ebn en plannen uit te voeren, deze te meten, prestaties te evalueren, beslissingen te nemen en elke maand richtingen te corrigeren. Moderne bedrijven gebruiken OKR&#039;s om wekelijks prestaties te meten, te beoordelen, beslissingen te nemen en aanwijzingen te corrigeren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ontdek hoe dit moderne bedrijven een substantieel concurrentievoordeel oplevert, omdat het zich vier keer sneller aan de snelheid kan aanpassen dan het traditionele bedrijf. Niet toevallig; het is gebruikelijk om deze wekelijkse OKR-frequentie \u2018cadans\u2019 te noemen. De cadans is hetzelfde als het ritme. Net als instrumentalisten die een muziekcompositie uitvoeren, begeleiden OKR&#039;s elkaar elke week ritmisch om ervoor te zorgen dat wekelijkse mijlpalen of mijlpalen worden bereikt. De cadans is cruciaal voor het succes van OKR&#039;s, omdat ze ervoor zorgen dat mensen verantwoordelijk zijn voor het actief monitoren ervan en zich inzetten voor resultaten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Een OKR bestaat uit een doelstelling (O) en de belangrijkste resultaten (KR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het doel is een kwalitatieve verklaring van wat u in de volgende cyclus wilt bereiken, die meestal elk kwartaal wordt vastgesteld. Bijvoorbeeld: \u201cOnze aanwezigheid op de Aziatische markten uitbreiden.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De belangrijkste resultaten zijn kwantitatief, zoals \u2018100 nieuwe klanten werven in Zuidoost-Azi\u00eb\u2019, \u201820 marketingcampagnes opzetten in Indonesi\u00eb\u2019 en \u2018\u00e9\u00e9n maandelijkse gemeenschapsevenementen organiseren in Singapore, Maleisi\u00eb en Thailand\u2019. Deze aantallen worden vervolgens over de weken gespreid en gemonitord bij de wekelijkse check-ins. OKR\u2019s komen zowel top-down (van het topmanagement) als bottom-up (van medewerkers) tot stand en worden begeleid door teams waarvan de leden de gebieden vertegenwoordigen die betrokken zijn bij het bereiken van het doel en de belangrijkste resultaten ervan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Naast de doelstellingen en belangrijkste resultaten stellen de teams actieplannen op waarvan de taken onder hun leden worden verdeeld. Elke week, bij voorkeur op maandagochtend, is er een vergadering waarvan de duur niet langer mag zijn dan 30 minuten. Tijdens deze bijeenkomst worden de taken van de afgelopen week doorgenomen; de wekelijkse doelstellingen worden wel of niet bereikt. Aan het einde van de cyclus worden de belangrijkste resultaten wel of niet behaald, worden de geleerde lessen besproken en vastgelegd, worden prestaties gevierd en worden nieuwe OKR\u2019s gedefinieerd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De Covid-19-pandemie bracht met hernieuwde kracht het VUCA-wereldconcept Volatile, Uncertain, Complex en Ambiguous terug. In deze wereld, waar veranderingen snel plaatsvinden, zijn OKR&#039;s de meest geschikte methodologie om strategie\u00ebn uit te voeren, bedrijfsplannen te implementeren en uitzonderlijke resultaten te bereiken.
