– By now, you should know that OKRs focus on where we want to be. – It is not about where we currently are. – OKR is not about “Business as Usual.” – Even after setting OKRs, it may be easy to go back into Business as Usual. – But you can always ask yourself these questions to ensure that’s not happening. – Do you tend to skip OKRs at your team meetings? – Do most of the team conversations revolve around “business as usual”? – If the answer is Yes, change your focus back to the OKR. – You can check if your Objective is still relevant. – If it doesn’t seem necessary, go ahead and change your Objective.
