OKR<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El uso de marcos OKR se ha vuelto frecuente y, en m\u00e1s y m\u00e1s organizaciones, se han convertido en una &quot;mejor pr\u00e1ctica&quot;. En parte, los OKR se ven favorecidos debido al papel que desempe\u00f1an en cerrar la brecha entre la estrategia y la ejecuci\u00f3n cuando se implementan de manera efectiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A algunas organizaciones a las que les quedan pocos recursos les conviene buscar primero &quot;peque\u00f1as victorias&quot; para recuperar el impulso despu\u00e9s de un per\u00edodo prolongado y sostenido de mal desempe\u00f1o antes de perseguir &quot;objetivos ambiciosos&quot;. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Thinking,_Fast_and_Slow\">Seg\u00fan la investigaci\u00f3n de Daniel Kahneman y Amos Tverskys<\/a><\/strong>, el fracaso tiende a poner a quienes toman decisiones en un estado mental de b\u00fasqueda de riesgos. Apuestan por &quot;objetivos ambiciosos&quot; sin los recursos ni el conocimiento suficiente para lograrlos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Los &#039;Objetivos Estirados&#039; son dif\u00edciles de realizar:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Los recursos, tanto financieros como humanos, deben ser considerados<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Los objetivos ambiciosos son fronteras m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de lo conocido y del &#039;negocio como de costumbre&#039;.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Es un riesgo considerable intentar alcanzar objetivos ambiciosos de forma aislada sin alinearlos con la cultura de la organizaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Una fuerte orientaci\u00f3n y cultura tradicional no es un entorno \u00f3ptimo para objetivos ambiciosos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sin embargo, puede ser el esfuerzo m\u00e1s valioso para cualquier empresa: \u2013 Cuando se implementa correctamente, estirar los objetivos:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tiene varios mecanismos de motivaci\u00f3n para ello.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eleva los niveles de compromiso de los empleados<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aumenta la tasa de innovaci\u00f3n de la empresa.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agrega un valor tremendo a los clientes\/clientes\/usuarios<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fomenta la creatividad, la inclusi\u00f3n y la colaboraci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rompe el efecto silo y las jerarqu\u00edas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Puede diferenciar genuinamente a una empresa de sus competidores.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 la gente no act\u00faa sobre las estrategias?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un estudio de <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sloanreview.mit.edu\/article\/no-one-knows-your-strategy-not-even-your-top-leaders\/\">Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Massachusetts<\/a> <\/strong>revel\u00f3 que:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En el nivel m\u00e1s alto de una empresa, en promedio, solo 51% conocen y entienden las estrategias de la empresa. En el nivel ejecutivo senior, es significativamente m\u00e1s bajo, en 22%; en el nivel de mando medio, es tan bajo como 18%; y en el nivel de supervisor de primera l\u00ednea, es tan bajo como 13%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No vale la pena &#039;iniciar&#039; una discusi\u00f3n sobre la &#039;brecha entre saber y hacer&#039; sin asegurarse de que cada vez m\u00e1s miembros del equipo de la empresa conozcan las estrategias de la empresa y c\u00f3mo sus respectivos roles impactan en esas mismas estrategias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sumado a lo anterior, suele existir una brecha importante en la orientaci\u00f3n y el pensamiento de quienes crean las estrategias y quienes tienen que implementarlas. En muchos casos, quienes conciben planes tienen una perspectiva m\u00e1s amplia (orientaci\u00f3n de pensamiento m\u00e1s amplio) y quienes los ejecutan tienen una visi\u00f3n m\u00e1s estrecha (\u00bfC\u00f3mo vamos a hacer esto?). Una direcci\u00f3n no es mejor que la otra, pero pueden ocurrir malentendidos y percepciones err\u00f3neas a gran escala, lo que impide la ejecuci\u00f3n si estas dos orientaciones no se reconcilian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La elaboraci\u00f3n de estrategias y la comunicaci\u00f3n no garantizan la ejecuci\u00f3n.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tener una estrategia o estrategias, incluso las brillantemente concebidas, no garantiza nada. La comunicaci\u00f3n tampoco ofrece garant\u00edas de que se har\u00e1 algo: es una combinaci\u00f3n de factores que hace que la ejecuci\u00f3n sea muy probable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cuando los miembros del equipo sienten que son parte de la creaci\u00f3n de la estrategia desde el principio y son consultados, es m\u00e1s probable que la lleven a buen t\u00e9rmino. El <a href=\"https:\/\/thedecisionlab.com\/biases\/ikea-effect\"><strong>&#039;Efecto IKEA&#039;<\/strong><\/a> es relevante en este sentido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El efecto IKEA, llamado as\u00ed por el gigante sueco de muebles favorito de todos, describe c\u00f3mo las personas valoran m\u00e1s un objeto si lo fabrican (o ensamblan) ellos mismos. En t\u00e9rminos m\u00e1s generales, el efecto IKEA habla de c\u00f3mo nos suelen gustar m\u00e1s las cosas si nos hemos esforzado en crearlas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cuando nosotros, como miembros del equipo, ayudamos a crear estrategias y fuimos consultados antes de hacer los planes, es mucho m\u00e1s probable que nos apropiemos de los mismos procesos y actuemos en consecuencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sencillez<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#039;Los l\u00edderes son casi siempre grandes simplificadores.&#039;<\/strong><\/p>\n<cite><strong>colin powell<\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Si no podemos desarrollar estrategias &#039;f\u00e1ciles de ejecutar&#039; o al menos dividir sistemas complejos en &#039;fragmentos&#039; mucho m\u00e1s simples, corremos un alto riesgo de que la ejecuci\u00f3n no suceda en absoluto. Cuando un extra\u00f1o lee su estrategia o estrategias, debe tener sentido: cuando un sistema es genuinamente transparente y se divide en objetivos o pilares tem\u00e1ticos centrales y se destila a\u00fan m\u00e1s en marcos OKR simplificados, es mucho m\u00e1s probable que se ejecute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cC\u00f3mete un elefante\u201d, dicen los africanos a quienes se sienten abrumados, hipot\u00e9ticamente hablando, por supuesto: cuando tu tarea es comer un elefante, la \u00fanica forma de hacerlo es pieza por pieza. Cuando se enfrente a una empresa enorme, comience con cosas que pueda hacer f\u00e1cilmente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Por qu\u00e9 los OKR pueden &quot;llenar la brecha de estrategia y ejecuci\u00f3n&quot;.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dentro de los marcos OKR efectivos, la visi\u00f3n de la empresa se destila en objetivos estrat\u00e9gicos y los objetivos del equipo se alinean con los objetivos estrat\u00e9gicos. Los resultados clave son las m\u00e9tricas de orientaci\u00f3n para actualizar los objetivos. El plan de acci\u00f3n de OKR contiene acciones, tareas, iniciativas y proyectos que respaldan los resultados clave: dentro de un marco de OKR, la ejecuci\u00f3n ya est\u00e1 integrada en la estructura flexible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Una estrategia que es &#039;inteligente&#039; para usar desde el inicio dentro de una organizaci\u00f3n para garantizar la ejecuci\u00f3n de los OKR es &#039;crear&#039; tantos campeones de OKR como sea posible: ofrecer una experiencia inmersiva de los OKR a quienes los van a implementar. Se trata de empoderarlos para redactar OKR poderosos y convertirse en defensores de los OKR y otras pr\u00e1cticas \u00e1giles dentro de su organizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
