class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uno de los cambios m\u00e1s significativos que impuso la pandemia del Covid-19 fue la necesidad de acelerar los planes y estrategias de negocios en todas las industrias. La meta a largo plazo se acort\u00f3 r\u00e1pidamente a la meta a mediano plazo e incluso hacia la meta a corto plazo. Lo que se plane\u00f3 completar a lo largo de los a\u00f1os se est\u00e1 haciendo en meses, a veces incluso en semanas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sin embargo, este aumento de velocidad es un problema ya que las metodolog\u00edas tradicionales de ejecuci\u00f3n operan con ajustes de trayectoria y frecuencia de monitoreo mensual. Cada mes, los indicadores estrat\u00e9gicos se actualizan y con base en los valores reportados, los gerentes eval\u00faan el desempe\u00f1o de lo logrado en cuanto a las metas mensuales y las metas acumuladas. Los gerentes toman las acciones necesarias para corregir el rumbo hacia los resultados esperados para el a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las empresas de tecnolog\u00eda de Silicon Valley fueron pioneras en OKR, una soluci\u00f3n al problema descrito anteriormente. La metodolog\u00eda OKR creada en Intel y Google se hizo famosa y hoy en d\u00eda es ampliamente utilizada por empresas de todos los sectores de la econom\u00eda en todo el mundo. Para aquellos que a\u00fan no est\u00e1n familiarizados, OKR es un acr\u00f3nimo de Objectives &amp; Key Results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La frecuencia de seguimiento de los OKR es semanal. Las empresas tradicionales operan con un m\u00e9todo convencional de ejecutar estrategias y planes, medirlos, evaluar el desempe\u00f1o, tomar decisiones y corregir direcciones cada mes. Las empresas modernas utilizan los OKR para medir, evaluar el rendimiento, tomar decisiones y corregir direcciones cada semana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Observe c\u00f3mo esto proporciona a las empresas modernas una ventaja competitiva sustancial porque puede adaptarse a una velocidad cuatro veces m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida que la empresa tradicional. No por casualidad; es costumbre llamar a esta frecuencia OKR semanal \u201ccadencia\u201d. La cadencia es la misma que el ritmo. Al igual que los instrumentistas que interpretan una composici\u00f3n musical, los OKR se acompa\u00f1an r\u00edtmicamente cada semana para garantizar que se alcancen los hitos o hitos semanales. La cadencia es crucial para el \u00e9xito de los OKR, ya que mantienen a las personas responsables de monitorearlos activas y comprometidas con los resultados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un OKR se compone de un Objetivo (O) y sus Resultados Clave (KR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El objetivo es una declaraci\u00f3n cualitativa de lo que se quiere conseguir en el pr\u00f3ximo ciclo, que suele fijarse trimestralmente. Por ejemplo: \u201cAmpliar nuestra presencia en los mercados asi\u00e1ticos\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los resultados clave son cuantitativos, como &quot;Adquirir 100 nuevos clientes en el sudeste asi\u00e1tico&quot;, &quot;Crear 20 campa\u00f1as de marketing en Indonesia&quot; y &quot;Organizar eventos comunitarios mensuales en Singapur, Malasia y Tailandia&quot;. Luego, estos n\u00fameros se distribuyen a lo largo de las semanas y se controlan en los controles semanales. Los OKR se originan tanto de arriba hacia abajo (desde la alta direcci\u00f3n) como de abajo hacia arriba (desde los empleados) y est\u00e1n acompa\u00f1ados por equipos cuyos miembros representan las \u00e1reas involucradas en el logro de la meta y sus resultados clave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adem\u00e1s de los objetivos y resultados clave, los equipos definen planes de acci\u00f3n cuyas tareas se distribuyen entre sus miembros. Cada semana, preferentemente los lunes por la ma\u00f1ana, se realiza una reuni\u00f3n cuya duraci\u00f3n no debe exceder los 30 minutos. En esta reuni\u00f3n se revisan las tareas de la semana anterior; se alcanzan o no los objetivos semanales. Al final del ciclo, se logran o no los resultados clave, se discuten y registran las lecciones aprendidas, se celebran los logros y se definen nuevos OKR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La pandemia del Covid-19 trajo de vuelta, con renovada fuerza, el concepto de mundo VUCA, Vol\u00e1til, Incierto, Complejo y Ambiguo.
